Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for an Assistant Psychologist to join Dunnock View in Clacton-on-Sea, UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate looking to build specialist experience within a trauma-informed mental health service while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will support psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and research activities, contributing to high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with psychological assessments, formulations, and the delivery of individual and group-based interventions.
Support clinical audits, research projects, data collection, and the preparation of reports.
Maintain clinical records and contribute to staff training and reflective practice initiatives.

Requirements

A minimum 2:1 Psychology degree with eligibility for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Previous experience as an Assistant Psychologist within a mental health or forensic setting.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
