As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Sutton Grange Care Home, you will provide vital cover for planned or unplanned absences, overseeing residents' needs while supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also assist the clinical team in specialised areas—such as medication, care reviews, assessments, and care plans—ensuring all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of Care Assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with specific responsibilities, including medication management, care plans, risk assessments, and reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Deliver and oversee compassionate, warm-hearted support that prioritises residents' comfort, dignity, and independence.
Flexibility: Work casual bank shifts (Days or Nights) on an as-needed basis to provide essential cover for annual leave or sickness.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Specific knowledge and experience of clinical care for older people.
Personality: Warm-hearted, compassionate, highly motivated, and dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential!
