About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our trusted healthcare partners for a dedicated Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join a specialist mental health service in Warrington, UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) who has successfully completed their Preceptorship and is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support adult women with personality disorders, mental health conditions, and complex needs in a secure and recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Learning Disability Nurse, you will:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans.
Support adult women with learning disabilities, personality disorders, and mental health conditions.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and nursing records.
Promote recovery, independence, and person-centred care.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide mentorship and support to colleagues and junior staff.
Ensure nursing care is delivered in line with professional standards and best practice.
Contribute to creating a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
Current NMC registration.
Completion of Preceptorship.
Relevant nursing qualification.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach.
Commitment to delivering evidence-based, high-quality care.

Desirable

Previous experience within secure mental health, learning disability, or rehabilitation services.
Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs.
Knowledge of recovery-focused and person-centred care models.

Working Pattern

Full-Time
Rotational shifts including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, depending on service requirements.
