About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Morrisons to recruit an ambitious and analytical Supply Chain Manager - System Optimisation to join their expanding team at Hilmore House Head Office in Bradford.

In this high-influence leadership role, you will help shape the long-term growth, intelligence, and accuracy of Morrisons’ supply chain. You will lead on building business rules-based algorithmic approaches to enhance forecasting, drive automation, and optimise store and supplier ordering systems alongside internal technology functions and third-party partners like BlueYonder.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and coach team members to drive technical competence and functional knowledge.
Strategic Planning: Play a pivotal role in creating the system development plan, setting priorities aligned with company objectives, and managing project plans for seamless implementation.
Expert Oversight: Act as the subject matter expert across store ordering, supplier ordering, demand forecasting, and pricing mechanics.
Stakeholder Influence: Present ideas and investment requirements to senior stakeholders, leading them effectively through the change management curve.
Operational Excellence: Validate and manage forecast improvement developments to maximize product availability and efficiency while minimizing excess stock and markdowns.
