About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK education provider for a Midday Supervisor to join a specialist school in Chelmsford, Essex, UK.

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for a caring and proactive individual who enjoys working with children. You will help provide a safe, positive and inclusive lunchtime environment, supporting pupils with complex learning needs while promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise pupils during lunch and break times.
Promote a safe, inclusive and positive environment.
Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
Support pupils with their wellbeing and daily routines.
Assist pupils with additional learning and care needs where required.
Monitor dining and playground areas to ensure safety.
Report any concerns to appropriate staff members.
Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

Experience working with children is desirable.
Caring, patient and supportive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to different situations.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
