What You Will Do

Our homes are built around accepting a child exactly as they are. In this role, you will help children experience the childhood they deserve, build their self-esteem, and support them on their journey into adulthood.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Direct Support: Facilitating children’s activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their daily lives.
Wellbeing & Safeguarding: Ensuring the health and safety of the young people in our care.
Home Life: Supporting the wider team with domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and food shopping to help make the house a home.
Documentation: Managing paperwork, writing reports, and creating timetables to provide structure and consistency.
Building Connections: Meeting a variety of children and young people, building positive, non-judgmental relationships.

What We Are Looking For

You don’t need previous experience to start here. We value character and potential above all else.

Requirements:

Age: Must be 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
Driving: You must hold a valid manual driving licence.
Disposition: You are caring, compassionate, and skilled at building positive, trusting relationships.
Resilience: You have the ability to remain calm, focused, and supportive, even in challenging situations.

What we provide for you: We invest heavily in your development. You will undergo a comprehensive "Skills to Care" induction (including two weeks of classroom training and a week of shadow shifts). We will also support you to achieve your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within your first 12 months, setting you up for long-term career success.
