Salary: £36,759 to £37,677 per annum (Dependent on Level 3/4 in Children’s Residential/Workforce. Includes payments for an average of just 8 sleep-ins per month.)

In this role, you aren’t just clocking in for a shift—you are actively shaping futures. By offering a simple "How was your day?", sharing a laugh over a board game, or providing a listening ear during tough moments, you will build the life-changing trust these young people need.

Please Note: A full UK Manual driving licence is strictly essential for this role. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this vacancy.

Lavender is a beautiful, specially adapted residential home designed to meet the complex needs of children through a therapeutic and holistic approach. ## Your Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will enrich the lives of the children by:

Supporting daily routines, including getting ready for school, prepping mealtimes, and organizing activities.
Planning and joining in on fun experiences, from trips to the park to movie nights and creative farm visits.
Promoting an individualised care pathway—never a "one size fits all" approach.
Using digital care recording systems (Clearcare) daily to accurately update, monitor, and document care plans (full training provided).
Contributing to a warm, clean, and homely environment through light housekeeping.
Providing emotional support and covering day shifts alongside an average of 8 overnight sleep-ins per month.

## Who We Are Looking For

Requirements:

Licence: A full, valid UK Manual driving licence is mandatory.
Qualifications: Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential / Workforce commands the higher salary bracket. If you do not hold this, you must be willing to work towards a Level 3.
Experience: Previous care experience is preferred, though personal experience caring for a friend or family member is highly valued.
Tech Skills: Confidence using electronic recording systems to accurately document daily progress.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
