About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with our client to recruit a friendly and customer-focused Customer Team Member in Old Malden.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering essential services to your community. You will provide great service on the tills and shop floor, assist in our in-store bakery, restock shelves, and help create a welcoming shopping experience. Full, paid training is provided from day one!

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Bakery: Provide friendly, thoughtful service, respond to customer queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, and work directly in our in-store bakery.
Store Operations: Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, keep shelves stocked, ensure store safety, and check prices, dates, and temperatures.
Community & Teamwork: Collaborate with store colleagues to solve problems and get involved in local community activities and events.

Candidate Requirements

Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over to apply, as the role may involve working before 6:00 AM or after 10:00 PM.
Core Skills: Genuine care for customer needs, great people skills, a positive approach to change, and the ability to build positive relationships.
Shift Availability: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and at least 1 weekend shift (to be discussed further at interview).
