About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant for Monkscroft Care Centre. Located in the heart of Cheltenham, this charming home offers outstanding, person-centred dementia and nursing care for up to 80 residents in a comfortable and friendly environment.

As a care assistant, you will make a real, daily difference in the lives of our residents. From supporting daily routines and personal care (such as washing, bathing, and toileting) to providing genuine companionship and sharing laughs during activities, you will help our residents live happy, fulfilled, and dignified lives.

Key Responsibilities

Person-Centred Care: Assist residents with personal care routines while ensuring their dignity, independence, and comfort are respected at all times.
Companionship & Activities: Engage residents in fun activities, conversations, and meaningful interactions that brighten their day.
Relationship Building: Form warm, lasting bonds with residents and their families, becoming a trusted member of our extended care family.
Communication: Work effectively as part of a supportive team, communicating clearly to maintain a positive living and working environment.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Both experienced care assistants and those completely new to the care sector are welcome to apply! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing development.
Personality: A kind, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for caring for others.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
