Wing College provides day and 38–52 week residential placements for young adults aged 16–25 with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated mental health conditions. We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a passionate staff team. In this role, you will be an integral part of helping students navigate this vital stage of young adulthood, giving them the tools, confidence, and qualifications they need to thrive independently.

What You’ll Do

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work side-by-side with Tutors, Teachers, and therapists to deliver a holistic, supportive curriculum up to and including Level 3 qualifications. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Academic Mentorship: Partnering with Tutors to help plan, adapt, and evaluate classroom activities, keeping lessons accessible and engaging for all learning profiles.
Building Relationships: Establishing productive, trusting relationships with learners, acting as a consistent role model, and holding high expectations for their progress.
Life Skills & Personal Care: Supporting students with their social, health, and hygiene development during the college day, recognizing and responding to their unique personal needs.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicating smoothly with internal clinical teams and external agencies to ensure a unified approach to student achievement.
