About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit a creative, enthusiastic, and personable Activities Assistant for Tixover House Care Home.

In this rewarding permanent role, you will deliver imaginative, fun, and varied activities to ensure our residents enjoy a motivational and fulfilling environment. Helping individuals pursue their favorite interests and hobbies, you will coordinate an engaging program of pastimes, social events, outings, and community involvement. Your work will directly enhance residents' independence, happiness, and connections with family and friends.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver a diverse, fun, and imaginative program of daily activities and events.
Encourage and motivate residents to participate in hobbies, games, and social pastimes.
Organize group outings and maintain strong links with the local community, families, and friends.
Support residents in living as independently as possible while tailoring activities to individual interests.
Help create a vibrant, lively, and warm atmosphere within the care home.

About You

A sense of fun, high creativity, and a natural ability to motivate others.
Enthusiastic, empathetic, and genuinely interested in supporting older people.
Note: No specific prior experience is necessary; you can come from any background as long as you bring the right passion and people skills.
