Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an empathetic and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join the rehabilitation team at Chalfont Lodge Care Centre in Chalfont St. Peter, UK. Working directly under the guidance of qualified Physiotherapists, you will play a vital role in executing individualised physical care plans that empower care home residents to maximize their mobility, physical health, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist qualified Physiotherapists in carrying out evidence-based physical therapy routines, mobility support, and rehabilitation exercises tailored to resident needs.
Complete basic administrative tasks, maintaining accurate, up-to-date therapy records and ensuring the smooth running of the physiotherapy service.
Build positive, encouraging relationships with residents, providing motivational and compassionate physical care in line with home policies.

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work towards obtaining this qualification.
Good foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology with a clear, empathetic communication style.
Prior experience in a neuro-rehabilitation environment or similar care setting is highly advantageous.
