Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Gulliver's Activity Centre

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Five Rivers Child Care Ltd for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Gulliver's Activity Centre in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people who require alternative educational provision. Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff, you will help deliver engaging learning experiences while encouraging pupils to develop confidence, achieve positive outcomes, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of high-quality learning activities.
Work with individual pupils and small groups.
Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities.
Support pupils with educational, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and child-centred learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams across sites when required.

Requirements

Strong communication and organisational skills.
Good IT skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people.
Flexible approach and willingness to work across different education settings.
Passion for supporting children in alternative education.
Previous education or support experience is desirable.

Working Hours

Full-time
Monday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
39.5 hours per week
