About the Role

As a Bank Chef representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will enjoy a fantastic work-life balance without the long weeks and split shifts typical of standard hospitality roles. Assisting the Head Chef, you will work with fresh seasonal produce to deliver wholesome, high-quality, and nutritious dishes. You will engage directly with residents to tailor menus around their preferences, helping to manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence while fostering a warm, efficient, and fun environment.

About You

We are looking for a qualified, passionate culinary professional who shares our commitment to person-centered hospitality and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualification.
Experience: Experience working with fresh seasonal food, a good understanding of nutrition, and background in helping lead and inspire a team.
Knowledge & Skills: Good understanding of HACCP protocols.
Attributes: A personable, warm approach and a dedication to maintaining the highest culinary standards.
