As a Bank Chef at Lawton Rise Care Home, you will have the chance to deliver hotel- and restaurant-standard culinary experiences without exhausting split shifts and long weekly hours. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, collaborating directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Management: Help manage the kitchen efficiently in the Head Chef’s absence.
Culinary Excellence: Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality, wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
Team Leadership: Assist in leading, inspiring, and motivating the kitchen team.
Operations & Compliance: Manage stock control, complete regular audits, work within budget, and foster a warm, efficient, and fun environment.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds, NVQ/SVQ, or equivalent culinary qualifications.
Experience: Proven experience working with fresh, seasonal food and helping lead a team.
Knowledge: A good understanding of nutrition and HACCP principles.
Personality: A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in resident well-being and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
