Position: Senior Night Carer - Residential Care Home

Location: Whitewater Place Care Home, Meadow Rise, Odiham, RG29 1GJ

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Hours: 22.00 hours per week (Part-time)

About the Role

As a Residential Senior Night Carer representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents during the night to deliver exceptional, person-centered care and support. You will be responsible for leading a night team of care staff—including training, supervisions, and delegating duties on shift. Additionally, you will support with administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and families. Your role is key to maintaining a warm, safe, and vibrant environment that respects residents' dignity and preferences throughout the night.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated leader with a compassionate approach and a strong background in residential care.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
Experience: Previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills.
Attributes: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and capable of making appropriate decisions to support resident wellbeing. (Many Senior Carers progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads, or onto nursing pathways.)
