The Role

We are currently recruiting a high-performing Store Manager on behalf of our market-leading supermarket client (Aldi) across the Preston region.

As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind the store's overall success. You will cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture, manage daily operations, maintain strict quality and safety compliance, and ensure customers enjoy an outstanding shopping experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and inspire your store team, fostering their continuous growth and building a supportive work environment.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily in-store tasks, manage operational costs, and uphold robust health & safety standards.
KPI Performance: Drive business targets, consistently achieving and exceeding challenging operational KPIs.
Customer Service: Lead from the front to deliver service that exceeds customer expectations, resolving escalated issues with professionalism.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven Leadership: Extensive background in leading and inspiring teams within a fast-paced, lean retail or operational setup.
Operational Efficiency: Strategic track record of optimizing performance through effective time and cost management.
Results-Oriented: History of delivering strong KPI results while keeping compliance and due diligence standards high.
Agile Mindset: A proactive, visionary leader who thrives on driving positive change and achieving measurable results.
