About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our trusted healthcare partners for a motivated Graduate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health rehabilitation service in Warrington, UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Occupational Therapist looking to launch their career within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Working alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and healthcare professionals, you will gain valuable clinical experience while supporting women receiving care within medium secure, low secure, and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will:

Carry out comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments under supervision.
Plan, deliver, and review evidence-based individual and group therapy programmes.
Support patients in achieving rehabilitation and recovery goals.
Assist with referrals to internal departments and external healthcare agencies.
Contribute to clinical audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate electronic and written clinical records in line with professional standards.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Promote person-centred and recovery-focused care.
Build positive therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
Participate in ongoing professional development, supervision, and training.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC Registration or evidence of a pending HCPC application.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programmes.
Passion for rehabilitation and person-centred care.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Desirable

Placement or experience within mental health, rehabilitation, or secure healthcare settings.
Knowledge of recovery-focused Occupational Therapy practice.
Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
