Location: West Oak Care Home, Murray Road, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2TA (Home-based position with regional travel covering Wokingham, Reading, and Bracknell)

Pay Rate / Salary: £32,000.00 per annum + £6,000.00 per annum Car Allowance

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 40.00 hours per week

About the Role

As a Permanent Operational Trainer at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued delivery of Good and Outstanding care by empowering staff to work in a compassionate, person-centred manner. Covering approximately 4 homes across your region, your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and delivering induction and development training aligned with Barchester objectives and statistics.
Providing practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjects.
Planning and publishing training calendars, managing employee training files, and observing workplace practices.
Arranging induction paperwork and buddies prior to new employee start dates, maintaining regular contact, coaching, and supporting new team members.
Collaborating with Home Managers to implement individual personal development plans and promoting learning opportunities.

About You

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated training professional with strong coaching and people skills. To join us, you will need:

C&G 7300 (or equivalent qualification).
A Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience working in the social care sector.
Working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care sector.
A minimum of 2 years of training experience.
A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across the region.
