Healthcare Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Elysium Healthcare for a Healthcare Assistant to join The Bridge in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will support individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries while helping them achieve the highest possible level of independence and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users.
Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
Observe, monitor and report changes in service users' physical and mental wellbeing.
Participate in ward rounds and contribute to care planning.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Promote dignity, independence and rehabilitation-focused care.
Follow safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care setting.
Compassionate, caring and professional approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
