Pay Rate: £16.30 per hour (plus weekend and NVQ enhancements available)

Shift Patterns Available: 6:45 AM – 2:15 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:15 PM (Bank shifts)

About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an experienced and passionate Bank Care Team Leader for Spencer Court. Situated a stone's throw from historic Blenheim Palace (the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill) in the charming town of Woodstock, Spencer Court offers high-quality residential and early-stage dementia care for up to 46 residents in calm, friendly, and comfortable surroundings.

As a Care Leader, you will support the Home Manager by leading a small team of carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Your professionalism, warmth, and compassion will ensure residents experience a true sense of security, dignity, and independence. You will oversee care plans, guide your team, and balance hands-on resident support with effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of care assistants to deliver the highest standards of compassionate care.
Care Planning: Oversee the continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual resident care plans.
Resident Wellbeing: Ensure residents feel secure, respected, and independent, maintaining their dignity and personal choices at all times.
Operational Support: Support new starters through inductions, delegate tasks effectively, and use your initiative to resolve problems and handle queries.

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting, holding an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or holding NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3). Supervisory experience (such as leading inductions, 1-to-1s, or delegating tasks) is an advantage but not essential.
Personality: A positive role model with a natural ability to connect with others, show empathy, and inspire confidence in a team.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and the ability to manage your time effectively between leadership and resident care.
