Location: Stubbington Manor Care Home, 139 Stubbington Lane, Fareham, PO14 2NF

Pay Rate: £16.84 per hour

Hours: 33.00 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Day Shifts

About the Role

As a Residential Senior Carer, you will oversee the diverse needs of our residents, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support. You will take responsibility for leading a team of care staff on shift—including training, conducting supervisions, and delegating duties.

Your key responsibilities will include administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families. You will maintain a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment while always respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents.

About You

To excel as a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you will need:

An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous experience working in a residential care setting.
Proven team leadership skills and the ability to make confident, appropriate decisions.
A warm-hearted, compassionate nature with a strong commitment to individualized care.
Exceptional progression pathways are available, with opportunities to move into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads, or nursing pathways.
