About the Role

Are you looking for a flexible, part-time role that allows you to make a meaningful difference while working around your personal schedule? Acting as a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering with Barchester Healthcare to find compassionate Bank Care Assistants for Wilsmere House Care Centre.

As a Bank Care Assistant, you will provide essential ad-hoc cover for annual leave or sick leave. You will help residents enjoy each day by assisting with daily routines, offering genuine companionship, sharing special memories, and delivering dedicated one-to-one time. Every day is wonderfully varied, giving you the chance to put your empathy and dedication into action.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Living Support: Assist residents with personal care, daily mobility, and routines.
Nutritional Care: Support residents with food and hydration while following personalised care plans.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Build warm, meaningful relationships and ensure every resident receives quality one-to-one time.
Flexible Cover: Provide vital support across days or nights on an as-needed basis.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Prior experience of caring for older people.
Personality: A warm-hearted, empathetic, and can-do approach with outstanding communication skills.
Commitment: Genuine compassion and a passion for delivering the highest standards of person-centred support. Full training will be provided to help you succeed!
