Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (32 hours per week + regular overtime)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with a leading community-focused food store in Kirkwall to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Customer Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading, motivating, and coaching your shift team to deliver efficient operations.
Hands-On Operations: Set the pace on the shop floor and tills, assisting with merchandising, stock accuracy, and routine store processes.
Community & Membership: Champion the store's unique membership program and foster strong connections with local charities and customers.
Versatile Support: Help maintain essential community services—whether supporting post office operations, in-store bakery, or online home delivery drivers.

What We’re Looking For

Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over to authorize age-related sales.
Experience: While retail, merchandising, or team management skills are an advantage, formal experience is not essential—we value attitude and potential above all.
Attributes: A genuine passion for people, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to lead by example in a busy environment.
Working Flexibility: Available to work a mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday).
