About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit friendly, hands-on individuals for a Market Street & Café Customer Assistant role at their store in St Helens.

In this varied and engaging role, you will help prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food. Whether you are serving hot meals in the Café or preparing pizzas, fresh fish, or meat on Market Street, you will play a crucial part in creating a special experience for every customer. You will also have the opportunity to cross-train across other departments, such as Replenishment and Customer Service.

(Please note: Applicants must be over the school leaver’s age; some roles may require applicants to be over 18 due to health and safety regulations.)

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve fresh food across the Café and Market Street fresh counters (including pizza, meat, and fish counters).
Customer Experience: Deliver friendly, helpful service to make every customer’s visit enjoyable and memorable.
Structured Workflows: Follow clear routines, timed activities, and strict food hygiene and safety standards to keep operations running smoothly.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Support other store teams, such as Replenishment and Customer Service, as needed.

Flexibility: Available to work scheduled shifts across Monday to Sunday between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
