Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week, 5 days over 7, flexible working pattern)

About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with a leading logistics and supply chain operation to recruit a proactive Transport Store Risk Assessor for our Biggleswade depot.

In this vital role, you will help keep deliveries safe, efficient, and compliant across our regional store network (around 350 stores). By conducting on-site risk assessments, evaluating delivery routes, and collaborating with drivers and store colleagues, you'll play a key part in creating a safer, smoother operational experience.

Key Responsibilities

Workload Planning: Plan, schedule, and manage your own store risk assessments across your designated region.
On-Site Evaluations: Visit stores to assess delivery risks and document site-specific requirements, including access routes, vehicle movements, contact details, and health & safety factors.
Investigation & Monitoring: Monitor and investigate reports from drivers, carrying out essential follow-up assessments when required.
Project Support: Support the opening of new stores and other exciting transport-related initiatives.
Collaboration & Records: Build positive relationships with logistics and retail colleagues while maintaining accurate, up-to-date assessment documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Driving Licence: A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Health & Safety Qualification: A relevant qualification, such as IOSH Managing Safely or higher.
Key Attributes: Excellent independence, strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when required.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels.
IT Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
