Location: Lotus Manor Care Home, Send Marsh Road, Woking, GU23 7DJ

Pay: £16.77 per hour

Hours: Bank / As and when required (Casual, flexible part-time role offering a great work-life balance)

Shift: Days (Working days with alternate weekends)

About the Role

As a Bank Chef representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will have the opportunity to cook with fresh, seasonal ingredients to deliver hotel and restaurant standards—without the grueling split shifts and long weeks. Assisting the Head Chef, you will create nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, collaborating directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. Whether helping manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence or inspiring a dedicated team, your passion for quality and person-centered hospitality will make every mealtime a highlight of the day.

About You

We are looking for warm, motivated, and qualified culinary professionals who take pride in maintaining the highest standards.

Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
Experience: Experience working with fresh seasonal food and helping to lead, inspire, and motivate a kitchen team.
Knowledge: A good understanding of nutrition and HACCP guidelines.
Attributes: A personable, warm approach with a genuine interest in resident wellbeing and a drive for culinary excellence.
