Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
Shifts: Days (Casual/Flexible cover)

About the Role

Are you a qualified chef looking to work with fresh, seasonal food while enjoying a better work-life balance? As a Bank Chef, you will have the chance to deliver hotel and restaurant standards without the long hours and split shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus tailored directly to residents.
Helping manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring high-quality, wholesome dishes.
Working within budget, completing regular audits, and managing stock control.
Helping to lead, inspire, and motivate the kitchen team while fostering a warm and fun environment.

What We Are Looking For

To join us as a Bank Chef, you should possess:

A personable, warm approach with a genuine interest in resident wellbeing.
Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent).
Experience working with fresh, seasonal food and a solid understanding of nutrition and HACCP.
Prior experience in helping lead and inspire a team.
