About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly and hands-on Customer Assistant - Market Street & Café for their store in Kingsbridge.

In this engaging role, you will help prepare and serve the fresh, high-quality food Morrisons is famous for. Whether you are serving meals in the Café or preparing pizzas, fresh fish, or meat on Market Street, you'll play a major part in making every customer's experience special. Flexibility is essential, as you will also cross-train to support other store departments like Replenishment and Customer Service.

(Please note: Applicants must be over the school leaver’s age; some roles may require applicants to be over 18 due to health and safety regulations.)

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals, pizzas, deli items, or counter products on Market Street or in the Café.
Customer Experience: Deliver friendly, helpful service, ensuring customer queries are resolved with a smile.
Structured Routines: Work within a fast-paced environment with clear daily routines to maintain exceptional food safety and display standards.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Pitch in across other store areas, such as replenishment and customer service, as part of a collaborative team.
Safety & Equipment: Operate store equipment safely and follow all food hygiene and safety processes.
