What You’ll Do

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will champion an individualized, "not a one size fits all" approach, guiding our young people through their daily routines.

Daily Care & Routine: Help young people get ready for school, prepare for meal times, and plan engaging activities.
Activity Planning: Plan and join in on fun experiences like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights, or creative projects.
Homely Upkeep: Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean, warm, and welcoming family environment.
Reporting & Administration: Maintain and regularly update care plans while providing timely updates to senior staff. Confidently use digital care recording systems (such as Clearcare) on a daily basis to document and monitor records accurately (full training provided).
Shift Pattern: Cover standard day shifts alongside an average of 8 overnight sleep-ins per month at the service.

Who You Are

We are looking for warm, patient, and naturally supportive people who take genuine pride in watching young people grow.

Experience: Previous care experience is preferred, but personal experience caring for a friend or family member is highly valued.
Qualifications: Ability and willingness to work towards a Level 4 qualification in Children's Residential care. Higher starting salaries are awarded to those who already hold a Level 3 or 4!
Licence: A valid manual UK driving licence is essential.
Key Traits: A fantastic listener, an active encourager, open to ongoing development, and equipped with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
