Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Myton Food Group to recruit a dynamic People (HR) Specialist for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract spanning across their Winsford and Deeside FTC manufacturing sites. In this pivotal role, you will help foster a culture where people truly matter, partnering directly with site management teams to ensure our colleagues remain the top priority.

Key Responsibilities

Coach & Partner: Support, coach, and challenge site leadership and line managers on complex Employee Relations (ER) cases, including absence, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
Talent & Recruitment: Design and implement cost-effective recruitment solutions to attract and secure top talent.
Engagement & Culture: Lead engaging, proactive site communications and drive colleague engagement initiatives to reduce absence and optimize operational costs.
Payroll & Administration: Take ownership of the payroll process, ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time while managing absence and sick pay processes effectively.
Industrial Relations: Build positive, effective relationships with trade unions and agency suppliers.
Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and development opportunities to build future talent and support succession planning.
HR Projects: Lead impactful projects aligned with the HR plan across Sales, Profit, and Cash.
Legal Compliance: Proactively manage ER to ensure all site practices are safe, appropriate, and legally compliant.

About You

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile manufacturing or logistics environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience: Proven HR background working in a fast-paced, demanding environment (Manufacturing or Logistics background highly preferred).
Qualifications: A professional HR qualification, degree-level education, or equivalent job-relevant experience.
Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, including MS Office proficiency and familiarity with HR systems.
Legal Knowledge: Up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of employment law and core HR policies/processes.
Interpersonal Excellence: Outstanding communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to speak up and appropriately challenge management.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel between sites and support project work as required.
