Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Airedale NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a dedicated and experienced Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse (Band 6) to work across the Haematology Oncology Day Unit (HODU) and Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCU).

About the Role

As a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high standards of care to patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments. Key responsibilities include:

Clinical Care & Treatment: Maintaining exceptional standards of nursing care for patients with haematology/oncology conditions in accordance with Trust guidelines and national cancer plans.
Unit Management & Coordination: Participating in the day-to-day management, smooth operation, and coordination of HODU.
Patient & Carer Support: Providing person-centered support, expert clinical assessments, and guidance to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
Professional Development: Contributing to clinical practice development by participating in unit education, self-development programmes, and audits.

About You

We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled registered nurse who meets the following essential criteria:

Registration & Qualifications: Current NMC Registration, educated to Diploma level or equivalent, and holding a post-registration oncology/haematology/chemotherapy course.
Competencies: Proven competencies in IV drug delivery, cannulation, phlebotomy, CVAD access, and administration of blood/blood components.
Experience: Significant post-registration nursing experience within an NHS setting.
