A Day in the Life of a Senior

No two days are ever the same, but your presence will ensure the Plymouth home remains safe, encouraging, and organized. Your responsibilities will include:

Shift Leadership: Leading daily shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager when required.
Team Development: Mentoring Residential Care Workers, ensuring they are up-to-date with mandatory learning and helping them develop.
Care Plan Oversight: Communicating with the on-site team, implementing individual care plans, and keeping accurate records (logs, files, and continuation sheets).
Nurturing Support: Providing active care, cooking healthy meals, maintaining a clean home environment, and organizing fun social activities.
Educational Support: Accompanying young people to school or college and encouraging them to engage fully in their learning.

What You Bring to the Team

Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications: A strong desire to earn (or already hold) a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Experience: 12 months of senior experience in a residential care setting is highly desirable, but we warmly encourage applications from passionate individuals at the start of their senior leadership journey.
