About the Role & Location

Where You’ll Be Working: The Coombs Care Home in Coleford, Gloucestershire (a CQC-regulated care home).
Working Hours: Bank contract (zero-hour basis), requiring flexibility to cover day and weekend shifts as and when needed.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, delivering high-quality person-centred care and companionship.
- Support residents with personal care, daily living needs, and promoting independence.
- Plan and participate in meaningful social activities and community outings.
- Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate record-keeping.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with resident families and healthcare professionals.
- Guide and support the care team, stepping up to lead the home in the absence of senior management.

What We Need From You

A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK.
At least 2 years of proven experience in social care.
QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or above).
Flexibility to work days and weekends on a bank/as-needed basis.
